With an encouraging developmental setting, adequate infrastructure and growing investments, there is a renewed focus in Malaysia for geospatial information, technologies and its applications. Held for the first time in 2006, Map Malaysia is looking to emerge as the national forum for geospatial professionals in Malaysia. Map Malaysia 2009 will be held from April 21 to 22 in Penang, Malaysia with the theme 'Geospatial for All - All for Geospatial'. The conference, organized by GIS Development (Malaysia) will embrace on all aspects of addressing 'Geospatial for All - All for Geospatial' in the context of present demands and fast paced technological changes.
